We are looking for a Product Engineer who will be responsible for developing the frontend of MiAI Law’s first user-facing product, ensuring seamless integration with our AI and backend services.

The Role

As a Product Engineer at MiAI Law, you will:

• Develop and maintain the frontend of our legal AI platform, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience.
• Collaborate with ML and Backend Engineers to integrate AI-powered legal search, document analysis, and case retrieval into a user-friendly interface.
• Optimize performance and responsiveness of web applications, ensuring seamless interaction with large-scale AI systems.
• Work closely with designers & legal professionals to translate user needs into an elegant, accessible, and functional UI.
• Implement best practices for UI/UX design, ensuring a high-quality product tailored for legal professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development & UI/UX Optimization

• Build React, Next.js, or Vue.js-based interfaces for MiAI Law’s AI-powered legal applications.
• Ensure fast, intuitive, and visually appealing user experiences that align with professional legal workflows.
• Optimize frontend performance, responsiveness, and accessibility.

Integration with Backend & AI APIs

• Connect legal AI models, search APIs, and backend services to the frontend UI.
• Work with ML Engineers & Backend Engineers to ensure seamless API integration.
• Build real-time UI interactions using WebSockets, GraphQL, or REST APIs.

Scalability, Testing & Continuous Deployment

• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated frontend testing and deployment.
• Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Ensure a scalable frontend architecture that can grow with future AI product expansions.

Requirements: Who You Are

Technical Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in frontend or full-stack development.
• Strong experience with React, Next.js, Vue.js, or equivalent frontend frameworks.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and UI state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, or Recoil).
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or WebSockets with frontend applications.
• Strong focus on performance optimization & user experience (UX/UI design principles).
